How could I forget tihs news?!?

My little brother (John) left Japan today for the United States! I'm very excited for him, though I most likely will not get to see him.

He will be in Virginia until the 4th of April for some schooling. But he has some more schooling in Japan right afterwards, so he won't get to take leave after and come up to Minnesota. My mom is most likely going to get to Virginia to see him, but our little family is all tied up with school and jobs. It's sad that we won't get to see him, but I think being in the states for a few weeks will be good for him. He has been in Japan for nearly two years, so he feels like he has lost touch with American culture. I can believe that. I hope that this visit to America, though short, will help him overcome that feeling.

He has said that he hopes to get leave the end of August, which would be just in time for him to see his new niece or nephew. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we see him then.

Nothing is new. I'm serious.

Just thought I would log on quick and let everyone know that we all still have a pulse. It's still winter, and that ticks me off quite a bit.

Ben and I are still working each day (some weekends), Maddie is still in 5th grade, and the dog still spends his days sleeping on the couch. Some days the sun shines, so one would think that it's a pleasant day. It's not.

I have to get up and get moving before I freeze solid. Over and out.

Hip hop and its influence in socio-economics

By popular demand, I have decided to blog it up for a few minutes. Yes, this is blog-master Ben.

Today we had our second doctors appointment. We got to hear the heart beat today! It was pretty exciting. The doctor said everything looks good and to keep doing what we are doing. We have another appointment in 1 month.

Colt just sniffed my arm.

We have a nice little Monday planned. Were cooking up a nice meal in the crock pot and its beginning to smell pretty good. We have been looking at cars and homes lately to accomodate the family addition. We may continue to do that today depending on how much time we get. I took the entire day off today to try to wrap up some school projects before I start doing an extra project at work that will take about a month. During that month, I will have to be working nights and weekends.

Thats about all I really know that would be interesting for other people to know.

Peace out to my family and friends. We love you all very much.

Ben and family.
