No special occasion, just a few new snapshots of Reese. Check out his new green pajamas!
I love his facial expression in that one too.
He sits up for quite a while without tipping over now. When he's playing he sometimes pulls his knees under him like he's going to crawl too. I don't know if his chubby little arms can withstand that much weight yet though.
He is getting four teeth in on top right now, so we have been dealing with the teething blues lately. I can't wait for teething to be done!
He still loves the Backyardigans. I purchased the Backyardigans CD for him, so now we have fun music when we are out on the road. He also got a singing pirate Uniqua doll (his favorite character) last week. Good times.
Not much is going on here. We are hoping the days continue to get warmer, and really looking forward to our garden this year.
Typing with Reese on my lap is very trying, so I'm going to wrap this up now.
Have a great weekend everyone!

It's official, our girl is a pre-teen now. Maddie's 12th birthday was Friday, the 16th of March. We kept things low key Friday night, enjoying movie rentals and pizza. Today we went to the Mall of America and visited Underwater Adventures. Both the kids enjoyed that. In addition to all the presents she got yesterday, she also got a huge box of Legos at the mall today.
Tomorrow night we are having dinner with her grandma and grandpa Rekstein, and she celebrated with grandma and grandpa March, Jennifer, Dan, Ian, and Avery this past Wednesday.
One of these next weekends she will also be having a sleep over with a couple friends. The fun never stops I guess.
We just got home from the cities, so I need to get us settled and feed everyone dinner.
Take care everyone, hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

Reese has a favorite TV show, in fact, there is only one show he will actually watch. He loves The Backyardigans. I had to include a photo of him watching it. He watches it from his walker, and he gets so excited that he dances around in front of the TV when it starts.
There are a few other photos here too, one with sweet potatoes all over his face, one with him dressed as cute as can be for a day out with Mama, his first bottle of (diluted) apple juice, and another of him sitting up all by himself.
He is getting really good at sitting by himself lately. He is growing and learning at a rapid pace.
He's getting fussy because it's almost naptime, so I have to keep this short.
Everything is well with us. We are preparing for Maddie's birthday this weekend. I can't believe my little girl will be twelve on Friday! They grow so quickly.
Tonight we are celebrating Jennifer's birthday too.
Not a whole lot is going on other than that. It's been so nice outside lately. I hope this means that spring is on its way in, and we are done with winter. I know March can be tricky though, so I won't get my hopes up too high.
I had better go change Reese's diaper and get him down for his morning nap now. Take care everyone, enjoy the weather!
