Calista is hungry again, so I only have a minute. Here are just a few photos of the kids.

Ok, we have been told to go to the hospital at 3:30, so it looks like it's on for today yet.

At this point, I'm very hungry and my nerves are shot. I'm looking forward to getting this whole thing over with so that we can get back to a normal life. Once the baby arrives, Ben will be coming home to stay with the kids each night. It's good to know that amongst all this craziness that the kids will still have some sense of normalcy and routine. Besides, those pull out chairs (yeah, it's a sleeper-chair, not sofa) are not going to be conducive to sleep for Ben in the hospital room anyway. I will have the nurses there should I need anything overnight, and Ben can get a good night's sleep.

Wish me luck! Hopefully the baby will make his or her appearance with little to no pain. I know, ha ha. Seriously, I just want everything to go well and the baby to be healthy.

We will be in touch with everyone once we have any further news, until then, we will be busy. :)

Still waiting...

The nurse I spoke to this morning told me to call back if I didn't hear from them by 9:00, but when I called back they apparently can't find their paperwork or something. They said they would call me back.
Haven't heard anything yet, must still be looking for their pesky paperwork.

Short version: we know nothing.

No baby this morning anyway...

The hospital just did a preemptive strike and called me. They are apparently already too full at this point to take me this morning. They said they would be calling me back at 9:00 am today. So we won't be going anywhere in the next few hours anyway.

I hope they can get me in at 9:00, a fasting pregnant woman who is overdue is not a woman pleased with her situation.

On the bright side, it's storming here so I don't have to water my garden or flowers.
I will update the blog as I am able and as I have anything to report.

An end in sight

I saw my doctor today and he scheduled an induction for next Friday (6/27).

I have been having a lot of contractions the past couple weeks, but so far they aren't doing much at all. We are hoping conditions are favorable by next Friday so that the induction takes. If not, it make get pushed back another week or more.

I am tired and looking forward to getting this over with. All the false/early labor is wearing me out and waking me up at night. I either need to have this baby soon, or for the contractions to stop until it is time for real. So far, neither has happened, so at this point the induction is looking better and better to me.

We have not had the baby yet. No sign that it will be anytime soon either.
