Happy 28th Birthday Ben!

My wonderful husband celebrated his 28th birthday on Tuesday (July 17th). He requested barbecue sandwiches, chips, and German chocolate cake.

John is done with Japan

My brother John is officially done with Japan. The Navy has stationed him in Diego Garcia next. In between, he has come home for a visit. He arrived home (Lake Crystal) the evening of July 14th.
My other brother (Steve) brought him home from the airport, so I got a few cute photos of him with Reese too.
Neither of my brothers live close enough, so each of them has seen Reese only a handful of times. It's nice when we can get them together. Maddie was ecstatic about her uncles coming home for a visit. She just adores them and has such a great time hanging out with them.

I know I know, it's been a while

No excuse, just haven't sat down and updated the blog in a long time.
A lot has happened since I last posted. I actually don't even know when I last posted, I better check quick... Looks like June 15th - oops!
I could promise to update more often, but I rather not, since I prefer not to break a promise.
Anyway, here are just a couple of photos. Looks like we haven't been very good about taking pictures lately either.
My friend Sherri traded baby-sitting with us so that we could take turns going to see the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie. I got a few cute shots of her daughter, Tayla, and Reese playing with the dog the night we were on duty.







I also have a cute shot of Reese napping in his Daddy's arms at the lake.








And this last one was just too funny to pass up. Apparently, Reese didn't like the channel I was watching. And no, he wasn't fully naked - he was concealing a diaper amongst that cute baby chubbiness.
