The weather in our little corner

Hi everyone, I have included some photos here so you can see what things looked like at 8:30 this morning. Just click a photo if you want to see it enlarged.
Looks like we are grounded, the ice is pretty thick out there. It's OK though, because we picked up emergency snacks to supplement our existing grocery supply. I am also making some honey gingerbread cookies. I think I will mix up a batch of chocolate chip cookies and bake some more bread as well.

I couldn't resist including a few photos of Reese too. He is getting much better at being photographed, not so curious about the flash anymore. This means we get some really good smiles now.

We got our taxes done last weekend and our MN State refund already came back. Ben and Maddie both had the afternoon off yesterday, so Reese and I were able to spend some time with them. Other than that, not a whole lot is going on.
Usually there is a decent amount of traffic on both roads by our house, but with the ice coating it's nice and quiet today.
