March Family 2007

Well, we survived the holidays without feeding ourselves to death - but only narrowly.
Last time I checked (last week) on Maddie's grades she was doing well. I think her lowest grade right now is a C+. Not too shabby. She got a lot of really fun stuff for Christmas, so she's still glassy-eyed with glee.
Since I last posted Reese has cut his second tooth (on his five month birthday, January 3rd) and started a few new foods. He now enjoys sweet potatoes and carrots as well as the rice cereal. He has lukewarm feelings about the peas, but eats them alright. The pears we tried this morning are another story though. He managed to make a face and gag on ever bite of the pears. So far he isn't enjoying fruit. It seems as though he really likes his cereal the most, but carrots are a close second. He is losing his long red hair and getting a fair amount of blonde fuzz all over his round little head now.
Ben and I are maintaining our sanity despite our children trying to rob us of it. Things are well with our family, so far 2007 has been kind to us. I am including a few snapshots, but I need to wrap up this post and get back to the laundry.
Take care, I hope everyone has an exceptionally good year.
