Hello Monday!

Good afternoon everyone! Welcome to Monday!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Maddie had a great time on Saturday, she really enjoyed her birthday weekend. She just loves her presents too.
For those of you who don't know, we took Maddie and her best friend to the Mall of America Saturday, where they met up with Reilly. They all got made up at Libby Lu before we had lunch with Kelly, Mick, Jennifer, Jody, and her friend. The girls were so excited on the drive up there that they were already in need of a nap by lunch time. It was cute though, and all three girls were very well behaved. Of course, we forgot our camera. But Kelly picked up a disposable one at the Rainforest Cafe, so we did get some pictures. I am going to try to use up the last handful of photos so that I can get the film developed soon, and get a photo or two on here. Ben bought fun stuff for that evening too, but I think the 3 cans of silly string were the biggest hit. We got some pictures of them being nailed by us, and I'm sure those will be priceless.

We had another appointment with my OB today. Things are looking good, we are doing everything right, he says. He had to chase the baby around a little to hear the heartbeat today, it was a squirmer. He said it sounds more like a girl at this point (a little over a month ago the heart rate was lower, so he was leaning towards boy). We have another ultrasound scheduled for April 6th. I am really hoping the baby will cooperate so we can find out then. My doctor also mentioned today that he thinks this baby is big, which isn't a surprise to us.

Hopefully, Ben will be done with this "extra project" at work pretty soon. We are looking forward to work calming down a little so that we can spend more time together as a family.
And, everyone knows how much I am looking forward to spring. It's grey and dreary again today - and cold. Technically, it's above freezing so some of the snow is melting, but it's so overcast that it just doesn't feel like any progress is being made.
Not much else is happening right now, just taking it day by day, waiting for some warmer weather to get here. I hold out hope each day, since it's almost April already.
